A Connecticut man has been charged with allegedly shooting a ball at a car with a slingshot.
       Hartford County resident Matthew West, 44, was arrested by police in Enfield following an incident in South Windsor around 2am on Thursday, February 23rd.
        According to the sergeant, the victim told police that he was driving on Route 5 near the Governor’s Expressway when a stopped car (later revealed to be West’s car) fired a ball from a slingshot into the victim’s car. Mark Claverden of South Windsor Police.
       Cleverdon added that police received a description of the car and determined that the East Windsor Police Department was investigating West and his car at Walmart for disorderly conduct.
       South Windsor officers responded and found a slingshot and ball bearing that matched the size of the hole in the victim’s window.
