The main outer dimensions of motor bearings refer to the inner diameter, outer diameter, width or height and chamfer dimensions of the bearing, which represent the outer contour. They are the necessary dimensions when the bearing is installed on the shaft and in the housing. These main dimensions have been standardized by international standards (ISO15), and GB307 (main dimensions of rolling bearings) is also formulated based on ISO standards. The main dimensions are stipulated in the national standards respectively, and the specific bearing dimensions are listed in the subsequent product catalog.
The overall dimensions are determined
Radial bearings (except tapered roller bearings)
d: Bearing nominal inner diameter
D: Bearing nominal outer diameter
B: Bearing nominal width
r: chamfering dimensions of inner and outer rings
The outer dimensions of the bearing conform to the outer dimensions of the radial bearing and the overall outer dimension plan;
The overall dimensions of deep groove ball bearings for motors comply with GB/T281
The overall dimensions of cylindrical roller bearings for motors comply with GB/T283
The overall dimensions of spherical roller bearings for motors comply with GB/T288
The overall dimensions of angular contact ball bearings for motors comply with GB/T292
Select the outer dimensions according to the size of the shaft, limit rotation, fatigue life or rated static load safety factor. Try to choose the outer dimensions of standard bearings to save costs.
