NSK will begin providing rolling bearing data to MESYS and KISSsoft, two industry-leading companies that develop technical calculation software for mechanical design engineers.
       Integration of NSK bearing data will speed up the design process through quick and easy bearing analysis, reducing the time required for bearing selection.
        At the request of design engineers, NSK rolling bearings will become part of the technical calculation programs KISSsoft and MESYS, which are used throughout the world. Based on data available until 2023, the ability to select NSK rolling bearings in these software packages will improve convenience and customer satisfaction.
        KISSsoft AG, part of the multinational Gleason Corporation, develops modular calculation programs for the design, optimization and verification of machine components such as gears and transmissions in accordance with international standards. Likewise, MESYS AG develops software for technical calculations in various mechanical engineering projects, focusing on the sizing of machine components, including ball screws, shafts, etc.
        Deep groove ball bearings, angular contact ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, tapered roller bearings and spherical roller bearings are the first five types of bearings for which NSK provides data. Users of the software can easily perform technical calculations involving gears, housings or shafts, for example by calling up NSK bearing information from the database. In addition, users will be able to determine parameters such as bearing life and surface pressure.
        It is vital that NSK can keep the data provided up-to-date to ensure the best possible design calculations for the equipment. In the future, NSK will provide information on additional types of rolling bearings.
