Introduction

1.Angular contact ball bearings can bear both axial and radial forces in one direction.The line between the upper and lower points of the force point of the rolling body has a certain Angle with the radial direction. The contact Angle is the Angle between the contact point of the ball and raceway in the radial plane and the vertical line of the bearing axis. High precision and high speed bearings are usually at 15 degrees of contact Angle. Under the axial force, the contact Angle will increase.

2.The locking port of the bearing is on the outer ring, and the inner and outer rings cannot be separated. It can bear the combined radial and axial loads as well as the axial loads in one direction. The capacity of bearing axial load is determined by the contact Angle. The larger the contact Angle is, the higher the capacity of bearing axial load is.The bearing can limit the axial displacement of the shaft or housing in one direction.

3.The axial load carrying capacity of angular contact ball bearings increases as the contact angle increases. The contact angle is defined as the angle between the line joining the points of contact of the ball and the raceways in the radial plane, along which the combined load is transmitted from one raceway to another, and a line perpendicular to the bearing axis.
